Community News Events SAFe Updates

In just a few weeks, 2,000 members of the SAFe® community will gather for the 2019 Global SAFe Summit in San Diego from September 29 – October 4 at the Marriott Marquis. I continue to be humbled at how people like you have helped us grow this event from humble beginnings into one of the industry’s must-attend experiences. This year’s Global SAFe Summit is nearly sold out, our event agenda is packed, and we’ve got a lot to talk about.

The market is moving faster than ever and technological change is happening at an unprecedented rate. I’d like to personally invite you to my keynote presentation—Competing in the Age of Software with Business Agility—where I’ll discuss what it will take for organizations to survive and thrive in this new age. In his keynote, Dr. Mik Kersten, author of the best-selling book, Project to Product, will talk about how focusing on the flow or work and moving from a project to product orientation improves business outcomes. And, you’ll walk away from Jade Simmons’ keynote—How to Move Like a Maverick—with new tools to unleash momentum in life and business.

And if you’d like to accelerate your SAFe implementation, visit our SPCT Coaching Station and meet with one of our SPCTs, SAFe Fellows, or SPCT candidates who can provide real answers based on real experiences. Along those lines, we’ve added a new, post-conference workshop, Troubleshooting SAFe Implementations, where you’ll learn how to identify and solve problems to get back on the path toward success. Plus, we’ve got more than 42 technical sessions spread across seven tracks:

  • Accelerating Business Agility
  • Lean Portfolio Management
  • DevOps and Technical Agility
  • Business Solutions and Lean Systems Engineering
  • Lean-Agile Leadership and HR
  • SAFe Applied
  • SAFe in Government

You’ll also learn how some of the world’s most innovative organizations have successfully transformed with SAFe. Get the how and why, concrete results and metrics, tips for success, and candid advice on pitfalls to avoid. Customer stories include:

  • MetLife
  • Bosch
  • Travelport
  • PepsiCO
  • Lockheed Martin
  • Anthem
  • Easterseals

If you haven’t registered yet, you still can, and take back real-world insights about using SAFe to drive real change.

I hope to see you in San Diego!
