Farewell, Martin Burns.
Recently, the SAFe community, and indeed the entire Agile movement, lost a dear friend and champion. Coach, collaborator, big thinker, and host extraordinaire—I knew Martin Burns to be a truly independent, non-partisan, and deeply thoughtful industry leader. Martin believed in SAFe, passionately, and was a follower of the Framework from its earliest days. In 2013, he attended an SPC class I taught in London where he brought an expansive view of agility, and inherently understood.

How Scaled Agile gives back—the Pledge 1% radio interview
Hi folks, One of the best decisions we made as a company was to join the Pledge 1% campaign. If you haven’t heard, this is a growing global movement that encourages startups to contribute one percent of equity, product, profits or employees time (pick some or all!) into their communities. Yes, government agencies can be Lean and Agile
Five years ago, if I mentioned Lean-Agile transformation to someone from a government agency, I’d get a contemplative look and sometimes a wry smile.
